Settings

Your avatar, profile details, connected accounts, timezone and daily email — plus the two controls that live outside Settings.

Settings holds your avatar, your name and school, a shortcut into billing, your connected accounts and the two delete buttons. It has two tabs, Profile and Notifications, and reads "Manage your account settings and preferences" under the title. Two things you'd expect here — the theme switch and your class colors — sit elsewhere; both are pointed at below.

Getting there

On a wide screen, open Expand navigation in the left rail and click Settings, pinned at the bottom. On a phone, tap Open sidebar, then Settings. Your avatar goes to the same place.

Your avatar

Profile Avatar shows the picture you're using now, next to Change Avatar.

Click Change Avatar to open Customize Your Avatar.
Under Choose Avatar, pick one of 84 faces.
Under Background Color, pick one of 12: Blue, Purple, Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Teal, Cyan, Indigo, Gray or Black.
Check Preview at the top, then click Confirm Selection. Cancel closes the dialog and keeps the avatar you had.

Billing

The Billing card is a shortcut rather than a settings panel. Manage Billing — "View your plan, upgrade, or cancel" — opens your plan.

Name, school, major, graduation year

Profile Information has four fields: Name *, the only required one, taking 1 to 100 characters; School; Major; and Graduation Year, which accepts 2000 through 2100. Click Save Changes when you're done — nothing on this card is saved until you do.

There's no email field

You can't change your email address from Settings. It shows in the left rail once the navigation is expanded. If it needs to change, tell us.

Connected accounts

Connected Accounts lists Google. With nothing linked it reads Not connected and offers Connect Google Calendar. Once it's linked, the row names the address it's linked to and says either "Connected • Calendar access granted" or "Connected • Calendar access needed" — if access is still needed, Grant calendar access finishes it. Unlink disconnects the account, and anything we've already put on your Google Calendar stays there.

Your LMS

LMS Integration starts at No LMS connected, with a note telling you to go to the home page and click Add Class to connect your LMS — the card itself has no button. Once it's linked, the card names your school's system, shows when it last synced, and gives you a refresh button and an unlink button. LMS Calendar URL below it is read-only: to point at a different feed, unlink the current one first.

Danger zone

Danger Zone holds two buttons that do very different things. Delete All Data clears your classes, assignments, time blocks, flashcards and more while leaving your account signed in and working. Delete Account removes the account itself and signs you out. Both end in a dialog where you type "DELETE" before the red button turns on. If you still have a subscription running, Delete Account stops at Cancel your subscription first and deals with that before it gets to the DELETE box. Cancel or delete your account walks through either one.

The Notifications tab

Timezone comes first: "Reminders, daily emails, and calendar syncing all use this timezone". Open Account timezone and either type in Search timezones... or scroll the list. The line under the field tells you whether the zone was detected from the device you're on or set by you, and once you've picked one yourself, signing in from another device won't move it. If the device you're using sits in a different zone, a panel appears saying which one, with Use this device to switch across.

Below that, Email Notifications holds Daily Email Summary, Delivery Time, Email Format — Compact, Detailed, Priority or Minimal — and Include Calendar Events. Notifications & reminders covers what lands in each format and how phone reminders differ.

Notifications saves as you go

Pick a different timezone or change a daily-email setting and it's saved right then — this tab has no save button, and no undo either. Profile Information works the other way round and waits for Save Changes, and a new avatar lands when you click Confirm Selection.

Theme and class colors

Neither one is in Settings.

  • Toggle theme sits in the bar across the top and offers Light, Dark and System. New accounts follow System.
  • Class colors come from Color Preset on your dashboard, which opens Choose Color Preset and its 28 palettes. Clicking one recolors your classes right away, so leave with Close if you're only looking. More in Classes.

Sign out

Sign out is in the same top bar as the theme control. It ends your session and drops you back at the sign-in page.
