Android
Installing Due Gooder from Google Play, signing in, buying a plan, and where your reminders are set.
The Android app is the same account you use on the web, so your classes, assignments and schedule are already there once you sign in. It's also where push reminders come from, because those are set on the phone rather than in your browser.
Install from Google Play
Open the listing: Due Gooder on Google Play.
Install the app called Due Gooder, then open it.
The banner on your dashboard points at the iPhone app
Once your account has a class in it, the web dashboard can show Get the iOS app on Android too. On a narrow screen it shrinks to a phone icon with Download and Dismiss, with no heading to tell you what it is. Download goes to the App Store either way, so use the Google Play link above instead.
There's no password anywhere in the app, and the same screen creates your account if you don't have one yet.
Pick the way you signed up. There's Sign in with email, and depending on the build you're running you may also see Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft.
On the email path, type your address and tap Send code. Use a personal address rather than your school one — the screen says Don't use a .edu address, because university mail often swallows the code and the address stops working after you graduate.
Type the six digits under Enter your code and tap Sign in. If nothing arrives, tap Didn't get it? Resend code.
What's in the app
Five tabs sit along the bottom: Home, Schedule, Duey, Classes and Locker.
- Home — your day, grouped into Today, This Week and Overdue. Tick things off as you finish them, or tap Plan with Duey.
- Schedule — an hour-by-hour day with your class times and time blocks on the grid, and the day's assignments in a panel along the bottom.
- Duey — chat with Duey about what's coming up, if Duey's turned on for your account.
- Classes — a card per class. Share gives you Invite classmates.
- Locker — Materials and Study, plus Add material or generate a study set.
New work comes in through Add a class, event or assignment on Home, which offers Upload a syllabus, Link LMS, Add event and Add an assignment. Link LMS opens a notice saying you connect Canvas, Blackboard or another LMS on our website — tap Open app.duegooder.com to carry on in your browser. There's no in-app connection step yet.
There's no Due Gooder widget on Android. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets are in the iOS app only.
Where reminders are set
Push reminders live in the app. Tap the gear in the top right, open Settings, and under Preferences tap Notifications. That screen has Enable Notifications, an Assignment reminders choice of Basic, Moderate or Extreme, a Morning summary time, and 30 min Before Class. What each one sends is in notifications & reminders.
One thing you set on the web instead: your timezone. Open Settings → Notifications in a browser, where Timezone and Daily Email Summary both live. Reminders, daily emails and calendar syncing all use the timezone you pick there.
Plans and payment
Free accounts can have two active classes; archived ones don't count. Pro and AI Pro have no class limit, and AI Pro adds the tools that make something for you: lecture recordings and notes, Locker upload and search, flashcards, and practice tests.
Under Account, tap Plan & Billing — or Manage Plan if you already pay for something.
Pick Pro Subscription or AI Pro Subscription, then the yearly or monthly card. Yearly starts selected.
Tap Get Pro or Get AI Pro and finish in Google Play. Google Play sets the price in your currency and the cards show it before you buy.
Paid before on this Google account? Tap Already subscribed? Restore purchases.
If Google Play is still processing the payment you'll see Purchase pending, and your plan turns on once Google Play confirms it. Different account means that subscription belongs to a different Due Gooder account.
Where to cancel
You cancel wherever you paid, and the app tells you which that is.
- Bought in the Android app — tap Manage Subscription, which takes you to Google Play.
- Bought on the web — go to Settings → Profile → Manage Billing at duegooder.com.
- Bought on an iPhone — cancel it in Apple's Settings app.
The app won't sell you a second plan on top of a subscription that's billed somewhere else.
