iOS
Install the iOS app, sign in, add a widget, and buy or cancel a plan through Apple.
The iOS app is the same account you use on the web: your classes, your schedule, your Locker and Duey, on your iPhone or iPad. A few things only happen in the app — push reminders, widgets, and plans you buy through Apple.
Install the app
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Due Gooder listing on the App Store and install it.
If you're at a computer, your dashboard offers it too. Once you have at least one class, a Get the iOS app banner appears; Download opens the same listing in a new tab, and Dismiss hides the banner until your next browser session.
Open the app and choose Have an account? Sign in with email, or any Continue with Apple, Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft button shown.
For the email route, type your address and tap Send code. We'll send a six-digit code — there's no password to remember.
Type the code under Enter your code and tap Sign in. If nothing arrives, tap Didn't get it? Resend code.
There's no separate sign-up screen. The same buttons get you in whether or not you've used Due Gooder before.
Use a personal email
Under the email field the app says "Don't use a .edu address" — use a personal one instead.
What's in the app
Five tabs along the bottom:
- Home — Today, This Week and Overdue, with Plan with Duey and Add a class, event or assignment for anything new. That add menu holds Upload a syllabus, Link LMS, Add event and Add an assignment. Link LMS sends you to the web to connect a feed.
- Schedule — your day hour by hour, with your class times and time blocks on the grid and the day's assignments in a panel along the bottom.
- Duey — ask Duey about a class, an assignment or your week.
- Classes — a card per class. Share gives you Invite classmates, and Class Info opens View class details.
- Locker — Materials and Study, plus Add material or generate a study set.
Reminders
Push reminders are set up in the app, not on the web. If you're new, you pick your reminder settings during setup, and if you leave reminders on, iOS asks for notification permission when you finish. If you already finished setup and permission is denied when you sign in, the app shows Allow Notifications and Skip for now, and Allow Notifications can hand you to Open Settings to switch them back on for the app.
To change reminders later, tap the gear to open Settings, then under Preferences tap Notifications. That's where the reminder cadence, the morning summary time and the pre-class alert live.
Full details are in notifications & reminders, including the timezone and daily email settings, which are on the web.
Widgets
Widgets are iOS-only; there's no Android widget. Add one from iOS's own Home Screen or Lock Screen widget picker.
- Home Screen: Due Today (how many assignments are due today), Next Up (your next assignment), Weekly Summary (your busyness level and weekly stats), Upcoming Assignments (what's due this week) and Next Class (time and location).
- Lock Screen: Next Class, Weekly Progress, Due Today and Next Thing (your next class, assignment or event).
If a widget shows work that isn't yours
A widget with no data yet shows sample classes and assignments. Open the app once and it fills in with your own.
Buy a plan, and where to cancel
Tap the gear to open Settings. Under Account, tap Plan & Billing — or Manage Plan if you already pay.
Choose Pro Subscription or AI Pro Subscription, then Yearly or Monthly. Yearly is selected to start.
Tap Get Pro or Get AI Pro and confirm with Apple. The price comes from Apple in your own currency; you can also see plans on the pricing page.
Bought a plan through Apple but the app still shows Free? Tap Already subscribed? Restore purchases.
On the Free plan you can have up to two classes. Pro drops that limit; AI Pro adds AI lecture recordings and notes, Locker upload and AI search, AI flashcard generation and AI practice test generation.
A plan bought in the app is billed by Apple, so it's changed and canceled through Apple: open Manage Subscription in the app and it takes you to your Apple subscription settings, where you switch between Pro and AI Pro or between monthly and yearly. Subscriptions renew until you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. If you started your plan on the web instead, the app won't sell you a second one — it tells you to manage it at duegooder.com. On the web, billing lives under Settings > Profile > Manage Billing, and the web pricing page turns an Apple subscriber away with Manage in App Store.
Refunds for a plan bought through Apple
Apple handles every App Store refund; we can't refund an in-app purchase ourselves, so there's no point asking us first. To request one:
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account you used for the purchase.
Apple decides and lets you know. For a plan bought on the web, see refunds.
